The third Shipley Community Hub was held at Andrew Hall in Shipley on Tuesday 3rd Oct 23 and was well attended by many members of the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our ‘fixers’ got to grips with a Dyson vacuum cleaner, KitchenAid food mixer, a model boat and a necklace amongst other items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old books were available as was a great collection of refillable lotions and cleaning products with cakes, coffee and tea on offer throughout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our speaker provided a facinating insight into the world of recycling and surprised many with the number and type of objects that can be placed in ‘recycling’ in Horsham and its surrounding villages – who knew an aerosol can could be put in there? I know I didn’t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sarah and her team created a wonderful vibrant community feel, and as a reminder the Shipley Community Hub runs from 11:00 until 14:00 on the first Tuesday of every month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
